HCDE PhD Student
I'm a sixth/end year PhD student at the University of Washington in the Human-Centered Design and Engineering (HCDE) department. I work with my advisors Kate Starbird and Sean Munson exploring the use of tracking technology (e.g., Catapult, WHOOP, Fitbit, etc.) and data in college athletics. In the 2020-2021 academic year I wrote and defended my dissertation proposal. I plan to finish my PhD in the 2021-2022 academic year and so I will be applying for academic and industry jobs this year!

During my undergraduate career I also competed on the NCAA Divsion I UMass Women's Rowing Team. For details about my college rowing career, read my bio.
I currently row my single out of Lake Washington Rowing Club (LWRC) in Fremont. I previously rowed out of College Club of Seattle (CCS).

I have always enjoyed singing, but singing sounds better with accompanyment. So I picked up guitar as my dissertation hobby (a hobby one picks up to balance out writing a disserration) and my pandemic hobby.
